Özet
Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Mısır’ın, 1970’lerden bu yana geçirdiği radikal dönüşümü ele almak, Mısır’ın nasıl ABD-İsrail hattına geçtiğini ve emperyalist-kapitalist hegemonyaya eklemlendiğini tartışmaktır. Çalışmada, Mısır’da yaşanan (neo)liberal dönüşüm süreci (infitah) ve bunun politik, ekonomik ve toplumsal sonuçları masaya yatırılarak, son dönemde Mısır’da emekçi sınıfların yürüttükleri başkaldırı ve mücadeleye (intifada) dikkat çekilecektir. Mısır ve Türkiye’nin yaşadığı süreçlerin ve Ortadoğu’daki ekonomik-politik konumlarının ciddi benzerlikler taşıdığının iddia edileceği çalışmada, Mısır ve Türkiyeli emekçiler arasında dayanışma ağlarının örülmesinin önemi vurgulanacaktır.
السيطرة الرأسمالية في الشرق الأوسط و التحول النيولبرالي في مصر: من الانفتاح إلى الانتفاضة
الملخص
الهدف الرئيس من هذه المقالة هو دراسة التحول الجذري التي مرت بها مصر منذ السبعينات من القرن الماضي، ومناقشة كيفية انحيازها إلى صف الولايات المتحدة وإسرائيل وسيطرة الرأسمالية – الإمبريالية. تضع هذه الدراسة فترة التحول النيولبرالي (الانفتاح) ونتائجها السياسية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية تحت المجهر، وتشد الإنتباه إلى تمرد العمال ونضالهم (الانتفاضة) في الآونة الأخيرة في مصر. كما تدعي هذه الدراسة تشابه الفترات التي مرت بها تركيا ومصر في الأوضاع الاقتصادية والسياسية السائدة في الشرق الأوسط، وتدعوا إلى نسج روابط التعاون بين العمال في تركيا ومصر
Capital’s Invasion in the Middle East and (Neo)Liberal Transformation in Egypt: From Infitah to Intifada
Abstract
The main aim of this study is to review the radical transformation process that Egypt has been undergoing since 1970s and to discuss Egypt’s reorientation towards capitalist-imperialist hegemonic bloc and US-Israel front. In this study, (neo)liberal transformation process in Egypt (infitah) and its political, economic and social outcomes will be evaluated and the uprising and struggle of Egyptian working classes (intifada) in the recent years will be mentioned. The study will argue that the processes that Egypt and Turkey has been experiencing and their political and economic position show a great similarity and it will emphasize the importance of solidarity networks between Egyptian and Turkey’s working classes.
